Platform Overview

One enterprise platform for truckload, LTL, brokerage, asset, and hybrid operations.

CarrierTool connects the transportation lifecycle across customers, shipments, loads, LTL operations, carriers, drivers, equipment, documents, billing, integrations, portals, APIs, workflow automation, compliance, and AI operations on a shared platform.

Truckload Operations

Full truckload load management, dispatch, tracking, billing, documents, and customer visibility.

LTL Operations

Shipment-level workflows, manifests, terminal activity, rating, documents, status events, and customer visibility.

Brokerage Operations

Carrier sourcing, load tenders, carrier compliance, settlements, margin tracking, and procurement workflows.

Asset & Fleet Operations

Drivers, tractors, trailers, assignments, utilization, maintenance, GPS, and mobile workflows.

Document Platform

Generate BOLs, rate confirmations, manifests, invoices, settlements, and operational forms.

Enterprise API Platform

Expose TMS data and workflows through secure APIs, webhooks, integrations, and partner access.

PDocs AI Integration

AI document intake, OCR, classification, extraction, validation, and exception processing.

AI Operations Layer

AI dispatch assistance, planning, exception detection, margin protection, and executive insights.

Tenant Capacity Scaling

Tenant-level worker capacity for AI, documents, integrations, automation, and operational volume spikes.

CarrierTool for Shippers

Move freight directly with qualified carriers — without building a brokerage operation.

CarrierTool gives manufacturers, distributors, retailers, importers, and private logistics teams an automated path from shipment creation through carrier sourcing, compliance, execution, documents, and freight intelligence.

FreightIQ™ for Shippers

Turn carrier rates, lane history, compliance, service performance, and shipment outcomes into better buying decisions.

FreightIQ is designed to help identify competitive carrier options, compare normalized quotes, surface exceptions, and measure transportation cost and workflow performance over time.

1

Automate shipment creation

Build shipments from saved locations, recurring routes, inbound email, documents, and AI-assisted workflows — including multi-stop milk runs.

2

Source qualified carriers

Search your carrier network, CarrierTool Verified carriers, and the National Carrier Registry before expanding to external capacity sources.

3

Compare rates consistently

Normalize carrier responses into one quote workspace so linehaul, fuel, all-in rates, availability, compliance, and service history can be compared together.

4

Execute with evidence

Tender, track, manage stops, and collect signatures, photos, temperature, seal, pallet counts, and other required evidence through CarrierTool Driver.

Built From Transportation Experience

Designed by transportation technology operators, not around a legacy TMS.

CarrierTool was designed from decades of firsthand transportation technology experience across carrier, brokerage, logistics, document, infrastructure, and enterprise operations. The goal was not to add another interface to the traditional TMS model, but to build the next generation of transportation operations from the ground up.

Leadership Experience

CarrierTool's founder brings 35 years of technology experience, including technology leadership roles with Con-way Freight (now part of XPO), FFE Transportation, and Bedrock Logistics. That operating experience informs the platform's approach to transportation execution, evidence, integrations, reliability, security, and automation.

Owned & Operated Infrastructure

CarrierTool is operated by Easy Stack LLC on infrastructure it owns and operates. The production platform is not deployed in a public-cloud compute environment, giving the operating team direct control of the hardware, network, Kubernetes platform, storage, and service architecture.

Kubernetes-Native Platform

CarrierTool and its AI services run as containerized workloads on Kubernetes. Production web and microservice workloads are designed for redundant operation, with a minimum three-replica deployment standard where applicable to the service architecture.

AI Inside the Operating Platform

FreightIQ™ and supporting AI workloads operate alongside CarrierTool infrastructure rather than requiring transportation workflows to be assembled around a collection of external AI products.

Production Workflow Heritage

The platform draws on years of high-volume transportation and financial document workflow experience, now combined with AI-native intake, classification, extraction, validation, exception handling, and automation.

Controlled Enterprise Architecture

Compute, network, application services, data, object storage, automation, tenant isolation, observability, and AI processing are engineered as one operating environment under Easy Stack LLC.

FreightIQ™ Intelligence Layer

AI that works across the transportation operation.

FreightIQ™ is CarrierTool's internal AI platform. It connects operational data, customer inputs, documents, carrier intelligence, GPS execution, evidence, financial readiness, training, and CarrierTool knowledge so AI can understand the work and assist throughout its lifecycle.

Enterprise workflow example
30–40 min → ~1–2 min

In an early enterprise implementation, complex 13–17 stop milk runs previously entered manually are now created from forwarded customer email and documents for rapid operations review.

Email-to-Load Automation

FreightIQ™ reads customer emails and documents, extracts shipment data, builds complex multi-stop loads, and presents the result for operational review.

Route & Stop Optimization

Compare the customer-provided sequence with an optimized route, quantify mileage and drive-time savings, drag and drop stop changes, and approve the final plan.

Execution Intelligence

Monitor GPS, geofences, driver-reported events, appointment progress, dwell, route deviation, and downstream service risk without repetitive check calls.

Carrier Intelligence

Use registry, compliance, insurance, monitoring, performance, history, and pricing signals to support carrier selection and onboarding.

Evidence & Closeout

Collect load-specific electronic evidence from drivers, understand incoming documents, identify what is missing, and move completed freight toward billing readiness.

Knowledge & Training

FreightIQ™ can assist users inside CarrierTool with operational questions, contextual guidance, training, workflows, and product documentation.

One Operating System

Replace the bolt-on transportation technology stack.

Transportation teams have spent years surrounding the TMS with carrier tools, tracking vendors, driver apps, document products, route optimizers, portals, spreadsheets, and AI point solutions. CarrierTool was architected to bring those workflows into one governed operating system with FreightIQ™ running across the operation.

System of Record

Loads, customers, carriers, agencies, contracts, financials, documents, assets, locations, and relationships.

System of Intelligence

FreightIQ™, carrier history, risk signals, document understanding, evidence validation, and operational analysis.

System of Action

Build, optimize, onboard, tender, track, guide, verify, document, close, bill, and manage exceptions from one platform.

Human Oversight

Users approve, modify, and override when needed while CarrierTool preserves attributable operational history.
